Why choose our training?
Dog Training requires consistently being consistent, heading in a known direction, making a plan, and sticking to it. This is especially important with dogs that need behavioral modification like: Aggression, Fear, Re-activity, "Criminal Behaviors", etc.
My goal is as much freedom and control for owner and dog as possible.
I want you to be able to take your dog walking without pulling.
I want you to be in complete control while off leash (supervised).
I want you to be able to communicate with your dog, and your dog be obedient.
I want your dog to be able to remain under control around other dogs, and people.
I want you to understand how dogs learn, how to punish and reinforce behaviors in a fun, fair, firm way that is always using the least aversive method possible. (Any tools used will be explained and trained)
I want dogs to be obedient while camping, hiking, long walks, & vacations.
I want you to meet your goals with your dog. Control and Freedom.
Sessions based Training is all about owner/dog combo learning together. It requires a lot of walking, bending over, and listening to the trainer, both during the session and at home. Also requires us to be out in hot/cold weather while training (In-door area coming soon). If you want to be involved in the training process, every step of the way, this one is for you.
After we book, I would make an individual plan for the dog/owner combo & needs. Every dog has a different path, depending on behaviors and history. Young balanced dogs with high energy will get treated much differently than a dog with a three-person bite history. All training starts with a leash, treats, and toys where we go from there depends on the dog.

If you would like to meet in person before committing, assessment sessions are $50 which will allow you to assess my temperament, style, & abilities. This will also allow me to assess your dog to make sure we meet your goals.

Dogs are trained in public Parking Lots, Parks, Lowes, Tractor Supply, your vets office. Everywhere a dog is allowed, that's were we can be. We must do this to prove reliability.
We skip no steps, overcoming all distractions like little dogs, big dogs, cats, people, strangers, walks in public, group classes, and much more.
We are so thankful for your time in training Cooper. Having had shoulder surgery and still having issues along with a lot of pain this will be a tremendous help in being able to walk him with no leash pulling. We are very impressed and highly recommend anyone having any type of obedience issues with their pet to reach out to you. Thanks again
Desired k9 has changed my day to day life with my Remington! Before our training I would dread leash walking and even put off public walks because he would pull like crazy and had trouble keeping focus on me. After training with desired k9 I’m proud to walk Remi anywhere with me and we’ve had plenty more hikes and round town strolls!
Not only did he learn some basic commands but I was taught as well to better and further train/build a relationship with my fur baby. 10/10 recommend to anyone!
